Medical Assistant Instructor Duties:
Uses various instructional methodologies, media, and practical activities to facilitate student learning and assist students in development of vocational skills required within the area of training.
Provides customer friendly service to all students.
Other duties as assigned by the College Director and/or Director of Education.
Participates in professional development activities to enhance teaching abilities.
Participates in required faculty meetings and in service workshops.
Plans, prepares, and implements activities for delivery of instruction and appropriate sequences.
Promotes and enforces school policies.
Promotes development of written and verbal communication in appropriate areas of the curriculum.
Operates as a cooperative team member within and between school departments.
Promotes retention improvement, by contacting absentee students by telephone, mail and or e-mail and following up with the Adhere to company policies.
Maintains accurate student records.
Keeps the physical environment and classroom clean and neat
Establishes and maintains effective student/instructor relationships at a professional level.
Employs materials, methodology, media, and practical activities which meet needs of different learning styles.
Develops a method of evaluating student knowledge and performance of skills.
Promotes tolerance and sensitivity of cultural diversity within the student body, personnel, and community.
Counsels and advises students with coursework performance problems or behavioral problems.
Continuously improves and enhances curriculum and delivery of instruction.
Monitors student progress.
Education: Degrees, certificates, and endorsements and coursework specific to the program or instructional content.
Experience: Minimum of three years of job-related experience. Five years of job-related experience is preferred.
Skills: Technical knowledge and expertise in the area of instruction. Ability to accurately communicate technical information in a structured manner.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
