Job description
We are looking for an experienced medical biller to work with us, for medicare billing. We are seeking a skilled biller for medicare billing/follow up, and obtaining pre authorizations as needed. We estimate 6 to 7 hours per week to fulfill the job requirements.
Familiarity with codes for orofacial pain and sleep apnea is helpful, but not necessary. Experience with Kareo billing software helpful, but not necessary.
Responsibilities include billing, follow up and collection of all insurance claims; maintaining correspondence with carriers and documentation regarding same
Medical Billing Skills and Abilities:

Medical Biller RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary Responsibilities
- Is responsible for full billing and collection cycle procedures.
- Processes claims on a regular basis.
- Follows up on claim denials, re-billing as necessary.
- Follow up on patients supplemental insurance payments.
- Posts all payments in our designated software.
- Communicates with the office manager in regard to reports, tests, referrals that may be required for claims.
- Reviews the accounts Aging Analysis Report monthly to determine the accounts requiring immediate attention.
