Our clinic offer complete, convenient, prompt and personalized medical and cosmetic dermatological care. Iowa Dermatology Clinic offers treatment for skin cancer, moles, rashes, psoriasis, acne, eczema and other skin conditions.
Iowa Dermatology Clinic is hiring a Medical Receptionist. We are looking for an individual who can work closely with clinic and organizations leadership to provide a quality patient experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: *(including but not limited to)

• Answering telephones / scheduling appointments.
• Greeting patients.
• Check patients in and out.
• Collect patient payments.
• Maintain confidential patient records.
• Handle medical record requests.
• Filing.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and medical insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Able to manage multiple front office tasks.
• Mandatory Reporter certification preferred.
• CPR preferred.
