The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is currently accepting applications/resumes for a Membership Coordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic urban, growing organization just 5 miles west of New York City in the water front city of Perth Amboy. The Raritan Bay Area YMCA has served the ever-evolving needs of our community since 1912. We enthusiastically serve over 5,000 members in the Raritan Bay area in our community building initiatives through Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility.

Under the supervision of the Membership Director, the Membership Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with all procedures related to the enrollment of members, enrolling program participants, controlling access to the facility, and all facets of providing exceptional customer service. The Membership Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining the integrity of all membership data, answering the telephones, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and café area.

The Member Services Coordinator also engages in and promotes the YMCA mission through the core values: Honesty, Caring, Responsibility, Respect, and Faith.

• Previous Customer Service experience.
• An Associate's degree or higher education is preferred.
• Proven skills in problem solving and decision-making.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish.
