Mental Health Therapist

The Mental Health Therapist-Licensed serves as a member of the clinical team for one or more PSI outpatient mental health programs. The MH Therapist performs initial and annual diagnostic assessments and functional assessments to determine diagnosis and treatment recommendations. The ideal candidate writes individual treatment plans for children and adults admitted for outpatient services and conducts individual, group or family psychotherapy and completes all required documentation for each case and participates in case conferences and special reviews.

Requirements

Must have a Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Counseling, Psychology or Psychiatric Social
Work. Must be licensed as Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC with a minimum of three years of direct psycho-therapeutic work with adults or children with psychiatric disorders.
Certified Addiction Counselor for Substance Abuse and trauma experience is also preferred.

PSI is a NHSC and DC HPLRP Loan Repayment Site

& a STAR Loan Repayment Program Site through HRSA

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 per hour
