The Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program within LM Space provides all launch processing support functions for Office of Space Launch (OSL). One of the program's two primary operating locations is Vandenberg AFB, CA. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, and satellite processing facilities O&M, clean room operations, and safety and environmental services.

The Mission Integrator plays a key role in the development and tracking of mission operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate & integrate mission support activities from multiple mission partners to meet all requirements and drive successful a launch
  • Identify and document technical requirements, communicating and recording completion for mission support activities
  • Monitor & track completion of key engineering milestones, communicating status to stakeholders
  • Interface daily with high-level mission partners & personnel to brief status and address priority concerns
  • Think strategically to mitigate schedule impacts from project delays to meet critical milestones

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience developing & updating schedule products in Microsoft Project
  • Must be able to manage multiple, high priorities, and communicate changes and status across a multi-functional team
  • Strong briefing & presentation skills
  • Comfortable briefing high-level personnel & teams
  • Must think strategically to plan & maintain schedules with dynamic interrelated tasks
  • Willingness to work overtime, support off-shifts and weekends as needed
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of Operations within the office of Space Launch
  • Familiarity with Maximo
  • Some experience with project management a plus
