Help Wanted: I’m looking to hire a salary-based LO to join my team.

This is different in that you will work from where ever you want, so you can be located anywhere and yet receive a monthly salary, as this is 100% salary based.

We will provide the borrower along with their application and your job will be to take it from there to closing.

This is for the LO that loves working on the loan, but doesn’t like to “go get new business”, yet you want to be 100% paid by salary.

Working with so many Loan Officers to find their “perfect” business gives me a unique perspective. And for every group I help who finds that their “Business of Awesomeness” is to be out shaking hands, kissing babies, and teaching classes, there is a second group of LOs whose passion is putting together excellent files and getting them to closing quickly and efficiently.

The first group is unhappy, edgy, and unfulfilled when they get bogged down having to put files together and the second group feels the same when they get “saddled” with having to make it rain.

In the past, group 2 people felt like “square pegs” being forced into round “sales” holes and a lot of them became so disillusioned that they quit the industry.

In fact, there has really never been a place for a loan officer who was good at working files but didn’t like selling....until now.

We live in a remarkable time. Because of what I teach in my organization, I have a large and growing demand for our “Group 2” Loan Officers who love putting loans together but can’t stand having to generate the business.

They prefer a steady salary instead of commissions. They are smart, hard-working, congenial are honestly are way better at constructing a file and tending to its details than Group 1.

We call the second group “Production Partners”, and, quite frankly, if it weren’t for them, the first group I described would be doomed to limp forever in low production and inefficiency.

Matching the right Loan Officer and Loan Partner is the perfect synergy because now each of them is doing what they do best.

This particular position starts at $40,000 / year for the qualified candidate, plus bonus.

We’re hiring a driven mortgage Production Partner to free up our Loan Officer to originate more loans into the pipeline. This position will be from the “contact to contract” phase of the loan. Your job will be to work closely with borrowers to expedite their mortgage process and ensure everything runs smoothly. Compensation:

$40,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with borrowers and referral partners to keep our current customers and attract new ones
  • Orchestrate the completion of loan applications, coordinate the collection of documentation including credit reports, run DU/LP/AUS, prepare the file for processing, and send a closing cost worksheet to borrowers
  • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation and then report any discrepancies to the loan originator
  • Serve as the primary contact during the “contact to contract” phase of the loan process and liaison between clients, referral partners, and the loan officer, and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items
  • Answer questions from customers or employees regarding transactions and give quotes when required to deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications:
  • The ability to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as an understanding of general ways to structure a loan
  • Working knowledge of automated underwriting systems such as DU and LP
  • Strong understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and follow-up skills
  • At least 2 years of previous experience fulfilling the roles of an LOA/Loan Partner, Processor, Loan Officer and/or Underwriter, 5+ years preferred
