Multimedia Designer
Overview:

Fernco is a family-owned business that specializes in flexible plumbing couplings and other plumbing fittings. As Multimedia Designer you will be involved in the development and responsible for the implementation of all marketing, branding and communications strategies. A successful candidate should understand how marketing campaigns work and have a desire to work in a highly collaborative environment. This candidate must have high attention to detail, be self-motivated, have a desire to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop concepts, create designs, and execute cohesive branded experiences across digital assets including websites, social media, digital marketing campaigns, email communication and package design.
- Create and design various materials for digital and print
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation
- Build omnichannel marketing campaign concepts to elevate the brand and the product
- Collaborate with teams across departments to develop strategies that are centered around our customer’s needs and expectations.
- Develop quality assurance checkpoints to ensure content, messaging and key digital information are accurate.
- Examine existing processes, identifying flaws, and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
What we look for in a candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years professional graphic design
- Experience with the Adobe CC suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD)
- Proven ability to take a project from concept to launch
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while working closely with the marketing team and other departments
- Produces high quality, well-composed, compelling, and creative content in line with brand guidelines
- Experience with both print and digital media
- Experience in photography and or videography is a plus
- Exceptional critical and strategic thinking skills
- Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training
