Historic Preservationist
At least two (2) years of full-time experience in research, writing, teaching, interpretation, or other demonstrable professional activity with an academic institution, historic organization or agency, museum, or other professional institution;
Substantial contribution through research and publication to the body of scholarly knowledge in the field of history
At least one (1) year of graduate study in architectural preservation American architectural history, preservation planning, or closely related field
At least one (1) year of full-time professional experience on historic projects. This experience or study shall include investigations of historic structures, preparation of historic structures research reports, and preparation of plans and specifications for preservation projects
General knowledge of the applicable environmental regulations and policies.
Experience conducting and/or managing coordination and consultation with Federal agencies in relation to NEPA or other environmental compliance requirements.
Experience conducting and/or managing coordination, consultation and compliance with State Historic Preservation Officers (SHPO) or Tribal Historic Preservation Officers (THPO), or both.
