Job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for screening hearing sensitivity of all infants born at the hospital prior to discharge. Administers Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) and Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) screenings and interpretation of the results accurately to caregivers. Completes all applicable paperwork and parent counseling. Performs other duties assigned by department management according to the policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college is preferred. Background in speech pathology and audiology is preferred but not required. Typing and Microsoft Office computer skills are preferred.
Job Knowledge:
Must have a thorough knowledge of procedural variables and instrumentation in the application of both Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) assessments and transient emissions as acquired through on the job training. Must have knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures as acquired through on the job training.

Monday - Friday; Weekends
Pay Range:
$11.41 - $16.12
