Night and Weekend Dispatch
Super T Transport is an Over the Road Refrigerated trucking company headquartered in Idaho Falls, ID. We are a family owned and family oriented company which has been established on the basis of quality customer service, created through an accumulation of over 30 years of combined experience from its seasoned staff. We are seeking a Full Time and /or Part-Time Night and Weekend Dispatcher who is looking for a career opportunity that fits their schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending to any emergency issues with our drivers after hours and on the weekends and coordinating solutions in a timely manner according to company procedures and escalating critical issues to management (Issues after hours can range from breakdowns, to late pick up and deliveries, to accidents, or road closures).
- Updating truck and driver activity through our software system to accurately reflect the movement of the trucks in order to identify issues with truck or drivers making on time delivery in order to communicate with staff and our customers regarding any issues.
- Performing routine yard checks and document what equipment is in the yard.
- Entering loads into computer software system.
- Monitor messaging service and replying to any messages sent by drivers.
- Issue money codes to pay for any OTR expenses.
Critical thinking and the ability to identify critical or time sensitive issues is very important to the success of the Night and Weekend Dispatcher. The ability to communicate, verbally as well as in writing is also a must. The qualified Night and Weekend Dispatcher would have the ability to supervise and oversee the work of others and be highly detail oriented. Experience in the trucking industry is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
