RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Node/AWS Developer.

Summary:
The Node/AWS Developer's primary role on the team will be to help deliver the next generation of commerce finance platform technology while also helping elevate engineering practices and team capability. The Node/AWS Developer will actively participate on an Agile Scrum Squad focused on delivering positive outcomes for our business partners. Our teams own what they build so having a DevOps mindset and a culture of learning is very important.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Javascript programming experience working with Node for backend development
• Experience with tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Jenkins, Jira, GIT, Splunk, Hibernate, Docker, and Gatling
• Public cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred): Lambda, Step functions, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Dynamo DB, Cloudwatch
• DevOps and CI/CD experience
• Excellent analytical skills, written and oral communication
• Understanding of unit testing, dependency injection, and mocking
• Understanding of computer science data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Recent feature contributions relative to this role
• Experience working with a team of engineers using pair programing for close collaboration and shared responsibility

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
