The Nurse Practitioner is clinically and administratively responsible to the Medical Director/Supervising Physician. Performs advanced clinical medical care under the supervision of a physician. Work involves assisting, planning and providing comprehensive patient care independently or in collaboration with health care professionals. Work involves directing medical activities/treatment: monitoring trends and activities, making recommendations for improvement. All other duties as assigned by the Medical Director/Facility Director.
May plan, assign, and or supervise the work of others. Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Prepare and maintain medical records. The ability to present ideas clearly and concisely in both written and oral communications. The ability to work productively with professionals and paraprofessionals as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team.
You will get to:
- Must be licensed as an Advance Practice Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Ability to examine, diagnoses, and treat physical and mental disorders .
- The ability to interpret laboratory analyses and x-rays .
- Knowledge of the principles of the development, implementation and documentation of case histories and individualized care of treatment plans.
- Skill in the care and treatment of patients and in the use of medical diagnostic and treatment tools and equipment
- Experience in a Mental Health Clinic setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with consumers and Supervisor
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Computer proficient with Data Entry skills
You’ll definitely need:
- Must be licensed as an Advance Practice Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiner's
- High School Diploma / GED;

- Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully and collect relevant information

- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and encourage others
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Comfortable working with technology and can easily navigate new technology platforms

- Passion for connecting individuals and families with excellent care
- Can successfully work remote
- Sustain a calm demeanor when under pressure to handle sometimes difficult situations.
- Provide exemplary customer service and care to your team.
- Work autonomously to complete assignments.
- Work cooperatively with others and be punctual and consistent in attendance because your people will rely on you!

We can pay you:
$114,750 - $130,000 (depending on experience) and benefits plus good karma for doing good in the world.
