Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/RN and in collaboration with other members of the Patient Care Team, assists with the direct day-to-day care of medical surgical and palliative care patients and families. Performs a variety of non-patient care duties. Responsible for providing and maintaining positive interactions with every patient/family/visitor they encounter. Provides care based upon the age and developmental needs of adult, adolescents, and geriatric patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience. Basic Life Support or acquire within one year.
