The Brass Tacks
  • Establishes and maintains positive, professional relationships with clients through effective, timely and reliable communication.
  • Works directly with event planning team for handoff and day of support of client satisfaction; including meeting setups, food and beverage specifications, AV requirements, transportation, billing, etc.
  • Provides information to operating departments in a timely manner.
  • Proactively manages guest arrival and departure experience (including team members properly positioned to greet guest upon arrival and thank guest at departure).
  • Proactively and effectively manages service glitches. (E.g. responds immediately, seeks solutions, communicates effectively to all concerned, etc.)
  • Coordinates vendor activity and flow.
Monitors and ensures client’s overall satisfaction at final and execution of event.
  • Enjoys working with social events and weddings.
  • Enhances sales efforts by assisting sales and events team selling corporate day only events, holiday events, social & wedding events, encouraging repeat business, and upselling.
  • Develops and maintains favorable working relationships and open communication with all departments.
  • Daily and Weekly and Event Reporting.
  • Prepares the event summary and other administrative reports.
  • Takes on special projects assigned
  • Ensures safe work environment, reports injuries, unsafe conditions and equipment that needs repair immediately and enthusiastically endorses safety initiatives.
  • Demonstrates commitment; attends trainings, team meetings, outings and generally tries to respond to unanticipated changes.
  • Performs administrative functions, including scheduling appointments, copying documents, ordering
