Role Qualifications:
Must establish challenging targets for improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee relations.
Must oversee line stops, safety violations/accidents and chronic defects.
Position Summary: Directs manufacturing operations through a team of functional managers and front-line supervisors. Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages policy deployment in the areas of Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures.
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
Balances work cell capacity/loading across the plant.
Provides leadership through a 10-11-month planning cycle.
Determines operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with company policies.
Ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects.
Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 10-11-month time span.
Measurement of performance to company goals and standards and establishment of targets for improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee relations.

Technical skills in materials and inventory management, production scheduling, and preventive maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Schedule:
