Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Education/Experience:

Graduate of a school of nursing; Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing required.

Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:

1. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
2. Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
3. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines

Additional Information:

0.75 FTE, 12-hour shift, D/N.

Up to every 3rd weekend
night and weekend call


Required: 3 years of OR RN experience or 1 year acute care hospital experience with peri-op 101 completion within 6 months of hire. Will consider surgical tech experience as OR experience.
