FCA Packaging, a leading provider of customized, heavy-duty industrial packaging products and services, is seeking an engineering professional to join their Coal Valley team as a Packaging Engineer. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

In this critical role, you will learn how to manage all areas of design and engineering with a current or prospective customer including project scope and timeline development, product design, FCA resource coordination, prototype testing, build print generation, and product transition to production.

• Development and implementation of successful, cost-effective product designs
• Enhance customer relationships and satisfaction
• Customer and New Prospect Project Management
• Engineering process development and improvement
• Supporting business development (Sales/Customer Service) with closing new business opportunities
• Project Management:
• Define new project scope and timeline
• Design specification development
• Prototype and testing management
• Support Business Development sales effort
• Manage cost and quality improvement redesign opportunities
• Communication with business development and pricing teams to achieve goals
• Capable of meeting customer technical support need
