Paid Search Manager

The Paid Search Manager will be responsible for managing search campaigns across Google and Bing, and within both Google Ads and SA360. This person will be responsible for assisting with the development of strategic goals and tactical plans across paid search that meet the goals of the individual brands. The Paid Search manager will leverage best practices, machine learning and automation, testing and optimizations to make improvements to performance (CPC, CPL, ROAS, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for execution of tactical paid search annual, quarterly and monthly plans
• Contribute to and assist in development of planning and forecasting
• Contribute to and assist in development of channel specific strategic goals and initiatives
• Analyzes campaign metrics and performance and KPIs (CPL, CPC, CTR, CVR, etc.) for optimizations to increase ROI
• Stay on the pulse of and align paid search strategies with new and emerging best practices to improve quality and efficiency
• Regularly review competitor marketplace, data and trends
• Collaborates with internal paid media teams to ensure consistency in strategy and execution across channels
• Strategically perform A/B tests; identify hypothesis, measure, report, and advice on future implementation of those learnings

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience managing paid search campaigns
• Experience with SA360 is a must
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to build, manage, and optimize campaigns in SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads
• Strong knowledge in paid search best practices and industry trends
• Strong technical skills in optimization platform management
• Experience with 3rd party data integrations a plus
• Certification in SA360 and Google Ads
• Experience in Google Analytics
• Experience in paid social channels (Facebook, Linkedin) is a plus, but not required
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to optimize marketing ROI and performance
• Strong Excel skills
• We use Microsoft products at APEI, so previous experience in Outlook and Teams is helpful, but not required
• As a team, we work closely and communicate a lot, so being able to collaborate with your team and communicate effectively (written and verbally) is critical
