Cedar Grove Warehouse is a family owned warehousing and logistics company that started in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin in 2004. We offer dry and cold storage and rail transportation services. We have a fleet of private refrigerated rail cars and a trucking fleet to support our customers around the country. In addition to Wisconsin, we have facilities in Idaho and California. Position Description:

Part Time (flexible 24-29 hours per week) during regular business hours. Self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, able to accurately complete projects within agreed upon time frames and comfortable working with others as part of a team. Flexibility for days and hours may vary based on workload.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Prepare and review Bi-weekly payroll submission (processed by outside company), including adjustments and deductions for each employee

· Assist employees regarding payroll questions or issues

· Back up Human Resource functions relating to employee payroll setup

· Record company debt payments

· Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, including monthly debt reconciliation and any other monthly financial reporting

· Receive and enter customer payments in QuickBooks, prepare and make deposits

· Process and assist with our billing function, which includes preparation and submission of invoices to customers

· Back-up capacity for other accounting duties

· Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers

· Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; equivalent experience in accounting field will be considered

· Has a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

· Working knowledge in all aspects of payroll processing

· Strong analytical abilities, attention to details and critical thinking skills

· Ability to carry out procedures quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision

· Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

· High organization skills and ability to multi-task/prioritize

· Must be comfortable maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality

Preferred:

· Prior public accounting experience

· QuickBooks

· Experience or interest in working in a fast-paced and growing multi-state company
