Job Description:
The participant will work under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer and the Merchandise Manager and will act as manager on duty for all Crunch home games.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with game night sales by setting up and taking down the merchandise stands and managing any game-day needs
- Provide excellent customer service to the Crunch fan base and public
- Use a POS system to complete merchandise transactions as well as open and close the system
- Interact with all levels throughout the organization to fulfill internal merchandise requests
- Process Internet orders and maintain the online store in all operations including photographing and posting products to the Syracuse Crunch online store
- Assist in the oversight of merchandise, including monitoring inventory levels, updating inventory reports, and organizing merchandise
- Maintain knowledge of product and promotions to accurately inform customers
- Supervise game-day merchandise staff
- Front desk shifts in season, as assigned, on a rotating schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to lift at least 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and lift items as necessary
- Must be available to work all Crunch home games beginning at 4 p.m. and post-season contests
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Time:
- All Syracuse Crunch home games and post-season contests
- Events as necessary
Compensation:
- This is an hourly position
