Pastry Chef – LaMadeline AZ Region | Part-Time

La Madeleine French Bakery & Café is seeking exceptional team members for our Arizona area (Gilbert), offering competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

Job Summary

The pastry prep associate prepares recipes and ingredients while maintaining high standards of food quality and food safety to guarantee guest satisfaction. 100% compliance to food safety standards, recipes and procedures is essential. Ensures pastry items are prepared in the amount as directed by management.

Qualifications

• At least 1yr exp preferred but not required working with pastries.
• Able to work with different types of kitchen equipment including, but not limited to: convection ovens, stand mixers, knives, propane torch and pastry bags.
• Ability to builds pastry products using the ingredients as specified in the recipe or procedure.
• Able to remain calm in a fast-paced team environment.
• Maintains a clean, organized workstation while in production.
• Able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift/carry heavy items throughout shift.
