Location:Remote Servicing Southeat Region NC, GA, and KY

Preferred to reside in the Asheville/Hendersonville NC area

The role you’ll contribute: Supports Supervisor and respective team ensuring daily functions are completed. Respond to escalated issues prior to forwarding to Supervisor if necessary. Ensures compliance with applicable policies for area of responsibility. Complete daily functions of designated area. Demonstrate the ability to act in the absence of a Supervisor. Advocate for the team; motivate, encourage, and recognition of team members. Lead by example.

The value you’ll bring to the team

• Works returned checks that are in Bank of America
• Work with Home Medical, Home Health, and physician enterprise regarding missing checks, etc.
• Working the last week of the month is a requirement with no scheduled PDO; as well as the possibility of working Sunday’s and Holiday’s.
• Requests claims in Series for non-CPA facilities
• Balances claims between Series & SSI, and between CPA & SSI to ensure all claims are accounted for.
• Reviews SSI errored claims based on alpha split, correcting and validating claims in preparation for daily submission. Claims should generally be worked on an ‘in today, out today’ basis, recurring claim days being the possible exception.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Data entry/basic computer literacy required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years previous hospital billing experience preferred
