Krause Group is searching for a Payment Card Staff Accountant II to join the Accounting team! The Payment Card Accountant is responsible for pulling, posting, and balancing daily credit card deposits to the bank and reconciling transaction details to ensure payment for all transactions are received and posted to the General Ledger. What you’ll do

• Create and post entries to the general leader for credit card payments, money order payments, and other financial services transactions
• Reconcile daily deposit for all credit card and truck card types versus payments received at bank
• Act as a subject matter expert that reviews for possible discrepancies in stores’ bookwork with regards to credit card, money order, prepaid financial, giftcard and resolve errors
• Diagnose payment transaction issues and push for permanent resolutions that fix broken process
• Responsible for month end posting of credit card fees and perform analytical review of credit card, prepaid financial, money order over/shorts during month end
• New store setup including obtaining ID numbers from all the various card companies and working with IT to ensure all locations are set up correct prior to opening
