Job description

We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join our team. To be successful in this role, you'll need working knowledge of payroll software with accuracy and efficiency, be good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. Your goal will be to ensure personnel receive the correct compensation in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees in the organization
• Maintain personnel database regarding salaries.
• Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues
• Work directly with PrideStaff offices to process payroll correctly and efficiently.
• Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system.
• Work with company database programs to process payroll.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required.
• Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time.

Pay: $20-26/hr
