Requirements for consideration of the application are that the applicant:
Holds an M.D. degree or equivalent
Provides evidence of having completed all three steps on the USMLE exam
Completes an anesthesiology training program prior to onset of fellowship in an accredited residency program
Demonstrates evidence of interest and ability to carry out research, publication, clinical, and academic pursuits.

Clinical Experience
Operating Room: 8 to 10 months
Pediatric ICU: 1 month
Pain and Regional Rotation: 4 weeks
Research Elective: 0 to 2 weeks
Other Elective: 0 to 2 weeks
Cardiac Anesthesia (included in #1)
Didactics are 2-3 times per month and supplemented by simulation experience, oral board preparation, and special workshops. Fellows are expected to participate in scholarly activity. Fellows will obtain mentoring and will be trained in a supportive environment.
Clinical Experience
Operating Room: 8 to 10 months
