Responsibilities:
The Per Diem RN in Medical Imaging is responsible for providing direct patient care by applying special clinical nursing knowledge and skills related to the Medical Imaging setting. He or she will strive to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.

Salary Rate: $49.99 to $50.01

Qualifications

Education

Required:
Graduate of an approved RN nursing program

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Experience

Required:
Minimum 3 years RN experience

Preferred:
Experience in a medical imaging setting/center

License(s)

Required:
Current and valid RN license

Preferred:
Specialty nursing certification applicable to medical imaging

Special Skills

Required:
Competent in the use of equipment and related supplies for selected patient population. CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience

Preferred:
Windows computer experience, RIS experience

Other

Required:
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Current BCLS issued by the American Heart Association. Minimum 8 shift per month 4 shifts per year before or after clinic holidays, with 2 shifts related to summer holidays and 2 shifts related to winter holidays.

Preferred:
ACLS
