Shifts: 9:30am - 6pm M-F
Type: Full-time contract
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Assists the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing of medications and supplies.
- Arranges work activities so that the pharmaceutical needs of customers are met.
- Answers phones, respond to questions and requests or refer them to appropriate staff for medication information.
- Verifies all data entry information in EnterpriseRx.
- Maintains records by recording and filling physician's orders and prescriptions.
- Communicates effectively with other professional and support staff in order to achieve positive customer outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participates in meetings, training and in-service education, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- *Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19*
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Registered Pharmacy Technician in Florida required
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certificate preferred
- Minimum one year (1) experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician, experience in dispensing pharmacy setting preferred
- Previous experience in pharmacy environment and pharmacy terminology
- Excellent computer knowledge is required, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in Spanish and English preferred.
