JOB TITLE: Plant and Grounds Construction

REPORTS TO: Jason Ming

PURPOSE: Constructing items and buildings to support safety, operations, and company needs while following company policies (i.e., safety, environmental, time clock, break clock, maintenance procedures, etc.)

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Follow all safety requirements and perform all job duties in a safely manner
• Follow assigned tasks given by Supervisor
• Carry out day to day plant operations
• Operate heavy machinery such as backhoe, loader, excavator, forklift, etc.
• Pouring and finishing concrete inside the plant and across company grounds
• Handle the construction of metal buildings
• Perform all other tasks assigned by management

GENERAL SKILLS:

• Safety conscious
• Having experience in carpentry is preferred
• Experience in the construction of metal buildings is preferred

PERSONAL SKILLS:

• Positive attitude toward new instruction and willingness to listen to constructive feedback
• Ability and desire to work effectively with other people
• Ability to follow instructions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understand and follows all safety requirements
• Must have a good work ethic
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to work within a team
• Must have good comprehension skills
• Must have a valid I.D.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening
• A Valid Class A or Class B CDL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
