JOB
The Fox Crossing Parks and Recreation department is accepting applications for summer playground leaders. These positions implement a weekly summer recreation program for children and maintain a safe learning environment.Hours: May range from 10-20 hours per weekSchedule: Typically, Mondays-Thursdays (mornings and/or afternoons)Locations: May vary from day to day. Classes take place at Schildt Park, O’Hauser Park, Palisades Park, and the Community Center

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Plans, organizes and leads daily activities (sports, crafts, games).Provides a creative, fun and innovative learning experience for children from 3 to 12 years of age.Monitors and supervises youth at assigned playground site. Maintains safety and well-being of all participants at playground sites.Promotes communication with parents/guardians. Controls playground site equipment and supplies. Maintains a clean and orderly playground site. Maintains a consistent and reliable attendance record. Must fully commit to working the assigned schedule for the duration of the program with time off granted for limited reasons only. Also, maintain flexibility as schedules or locations may be revised at any time as needed.Opportunity to assist with special events through the school year, if necessary.Performs any related duties as assigned.
