Full time Pre-Admissions Testing NP/PA needed in NY to join our team. Competitive Salary & Benefits Package!
Responsibilities:

- 8-OR, 2 Endo, 4 LDR, 2 LD OR, 1 NORA per day | 422 Beds | L1 Trauma|
- Evaluate capacity, demand, and determine number/qualifications of staff needed to meet goals
- Evaluate clinic’s layout and patient flow, assess any OFIs, and identify opportunities for non-traditional visits (i.e. Telehealth)
- Assess current reliance on technology and identify how it can be used to improve throughout
- Evaluate current documentation, order sets, algorithms, testing grids, current/future testing technology (POCT), policies and procedures
- Review current approach to and future needs of patient navigation, care coordination, and preemptive discharge planning
- Examine shared decision making and education and identify improvements when applicable
- Review current risk stratification and optimization and determine future needs/gaps
- Prepare and present monthly or quarterly reports
- Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA)
- Experience (5+ years preferred), expertise, and training in PeriOperative Medicine
- Strong fluency in internal medicine
- Exemplary evaluative skills
- There is also an administrative component to this role
- Previous clinical leadership role a plus (Lead Advanced Practice Provider, Nurse Navigator, etc.)
- Membership/involvement in EBPOM, ACPOM, ASA PSH, etc.
- Travel required
