We are looking to employ a qualified Preschool Teacher Assistant, who has a passion for instilling values in young children. The Teacher Assistant should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs.

To ensure success, the Teacher Assistant should display a gentle and nurturing personality, and the patience to assist each infant or child to mature cognitively. They should be able to assist in developing the infants’ and children's social skills as they interact with each other.

Responsibilities for Preschool Teacher Assistant

• Provide a safe and loving environment for the child in his/her care
• Supervise child on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
• Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean

Qualifications for Preschool Teacher Assistant

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
• Ability to work a shift in between 6:30 am - 6:30 pm that changes weekly
• Reliable commute to the Child Care center
• Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
