As a Fiserv Press Operator, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of machines within our Press Department that deliver mission-critical communications to financial institutions, health and property/casualty insurance providers, billers, retailers, travel and entertainment companies and advertising agencies nationwide. As a Press Operator, you can look forward to:

• Operating offset press machines, as well as other print production machines
• Performing quality checks, confirm quantity produced, and ensure the batch is correct per the job ticket
• Filling and re-filling water buckets and ink fountains, mixing ink when needed
• Examining ticket to determine job to be printed, stock specifications, colors, and any special printing instructions
• Helping resolve any machine errors that may occur while operating
• Testing the registration of the print design by allowing the machine to cycle automatically
• Always maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning machine parts such as plates and cylinders
• Prioritizing work assignments based on deadlines
• Assisting in the training of other employees and participate in cross-training
• Understanding, interpreting, and abiding by OSHA regulations

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Press experience required
• Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)
• Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds
• Ability to work overtime including holidays and weekends during peak periods.

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 12+ months Production Experience in High-Speed Operation or similar
• Ability to distinguish color variations and use various measuring devices
• Use of basic math skills
• A team player that works well with others but can also work independently
