JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities:
Product owner for Metallic BaaS solutions. The responsibilities include market research for product concept, product feature definitions, user experience definitions, creating development user stories and working with various stakeholders including engineering team, SaaS operations team and marketing team on all aspects of the product /solution life cycle.
Represent the customer by understanding their needs and being their champion. With a constant pulse on the market, customers, competitors, and technology trends, you are uniquely positioned to discover and develop market leading offerings.
Owning the product/solutions roadmap and ensuring the voice of the customer is present as we continuously evaluate our roadmap.
Hands on in creating demos and validating product and solutions features from customer /user prospective.
Support and collaborate with other Product Managers, and help us collectively tell a compelling story of who we are and where we are going.
Maintain an understanding of the larger market that our products exist within, ensuring roadmaps, pricing, and position are well-established to be successful by collaborating with all stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications:
10+ years hands on experience in Engineering or Product Management positions in any of these areas: Public or Hybrid Cloud management solutions, Data Center Security /Compliance Management, Backup or Disaster Recovery solutions.
Data Management /Governance or Data Protection domain experience in enterprises is highly valued.
Able to clearly translate customer needs into product requirements in sufficient detail for development organization.
Data Management /Governance or Data Protection domain experience in enterprises is highly valued.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Customer oriented and active listening skills.
Clear and fluent in articulating, reasoning and positioning technologies and viewpoints through communication skills.
