Product Management Analyst

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with no benefits. Compensation is $60/hour. Location is onsite at the client's location in Jacksonville, FL, Cary NC, or NYC. If you agree to these terms, please proceed.

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Management Analyst possessing strong product management skills, technical competency, communication and documentation skills to support the management of our Trader Messaging platforms within the bank. This position is onsite in Jacksonville FL. But if you're located in either NYC or Cary, NC and have the requisite qualifications, we would love to talk to you.

Required Technical Skills - Essential:

  • Experience in working in Product Management, Risk, Engineering, IT Run the Bank and Support domains.
  • Extensive skills in documentation, technical writing, presentation and data analysis.
  • Experience with distributed/multi-locations teams
  • Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Strong competencies regarding business & financial management in an IT-environment
  • Strong in communicating & collaborating with all stakeholders (business & IT)
  • Planning/Organizing: Able to manage workload but be flexible to changing priorities and be able to react to urgent deliverables
  • Flexibility: The role covers a wide set of disciplines and requires the candidate to be adaptable with a wide set of skills across the complete life cycle of technology delivery.
  • Problem solving: Ability to manage unexpected events; control and deal with them quickly and efficiently. When confronted with a problem, you will need to collect information, analyze situation, point out solutions and apply them to solve perfectly in reasonable time.
  • Proven skills in all business management activities

Technical Skills - Beneficial:

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services industry
  • Experience in messaging archiving products and eDiscovery tools
  • Experience in Unified Communication, Telephony and Messaging technologies.
  • Diverse technical background with experience on multiple technologies including a knowledge of H323 / SIP, AD, LDAP, XMPP, networking protocols and services

General Skills:

  • Enterprise level experience.
  • Building on a very strong technical knowledge in the aforementioned areas, the candidate must have strong support/troubleshooting skills, operate on their own accord, and work together in a global team with a strong worth ethic and communication skills.
  • Preferable Banking experience.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science, preferred, or a related discipline, from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience and certifications

Experience:

- Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in a in a similar role.

  • Financial services sector experience beneficial.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Supporting the end-to-end product ownership, service design, engineering, support, and delivery of the banks Trader Messaging products.
  • Creating and maintaining technical operating procedure documents for the service operations teams.
  • Creating and maintaining end-user guides, knowledge articles, how-to guides and product pages describing the products, and guidelines to our end-users.
  • Work closely with the Stakeholders, Business and End Users to understand requirements and translate these into our product roadmaps.
  • Communication with business and stakeholders regarding upcoming releases and roadmaps.
  • Reporting product performance / consumption metrics to key stakeholders and generating user inventories for business and stakeholders.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Manage risks and work with internal audit when required to provide evidence of adherence to security standards and key processes, following up by owning tracking and closing any issues identified in the banks risk management platform.
  • Working closely with Project Management functions to deliver new platforms, updates, and changes
  • Create and deliver application adoption strategies to ensure take up of new services and functionality and retirement of legacy products.
  • Work closely with Engineering to translate requirements into End User stories and prioritize engineering deliverables working within an Agile framework.
  • Support Product Lifecycle Management, Demand Management and Compliance of our products n line with internal Policies and Procedures.
