Product Marketing Director - Services

Intro to role:

Seismic's leading approach to solution design, implementation, enablement strategy, and ongoing services is a key area of growth and differentiation. We are seeking our company's first services marketer. As a member of the product marketing team, you will partner with the Global Services organization to help our customers and prospects understand how Seismic can help them turn their enablement vision into reality. Specifically, you will craft the narrative of our services portfolio, partner to identify new service solutions, spearhead go to market strategy and messaging of service solutions, and lead the launch of new services offerings.

This is an INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR role.

What you will be doing:

This is a new role within Seismic, and as the Product Marketing Director - Services you will lead the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market for Seismic's Global Services offerings. You will use your knowledge of the customer experience, key admin and champion persona(s) to help define, launch, enable, and grow offerings, and to tell the Seismic services offerings in a way that clearly articulates value to support Seismic customers.

Specific activities include:

  • Partner with Global Services to establish the go-to-market vision and strategy for the services area, including identifying and defining market opportunities and new offerings
  • Lead and develop services positioning, collateral and messaging by understanding our brand, customer needs, product roadmap, adoption trends, and competitive landscape
  • Enable and activate go to market teams with services offerings to effectively support customers
  • Collaborate with product marketing and go to market counterparts to create service offerings and align them to solutions, sales plays, and product launches to drive attach rate, product adoption, and ultimately customer success
  • Develop and ensure content and campaign strategies are centered around customer needs
  • Provide source documents to downstream teams
  • Establish strategies to drive customer retention, adoption, and service revenue

What you bring to the team:

  • 10+ years' experience in product marketing, services marketing, or solution marketing at a SaaS company, preferably in the sales or mar-tech space
  • Experience working with developing and launching services offerings
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with product marketing peers and teams to achieve shared outcomes for the business
  • Proven ability to work with services, customer success, and sales teams to bring new offerings to market and meet or over-achieve goals
  • Exceptional written and verbal storytelling ability, including synthesizing insights and ideas into simple, succinct narratives
  • Strong ability to understand complex considerations and then frame in a simple manner to drive collective understanding, alignment, and decision-making
  • Experience using customer, competitive and market intelligence to inform services roadmap and GTM strategy
