Automann services its distributors out of (4) US Distribution centers; Monroe Township NJ (HQ), New Lennox IL, Duncanville TX and Ontario CA and (2) distribution centers in Canada: Brampton ON and Edmonton AB.

Summary

We have an immediate need for a Product Warranty/Claims Support Associate who will work with our multi-location Engineering Team on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Review warranty returns, resolve discrepancies, and report to the product Manager
• Will physically inspect parts that are returned from customer for Return Approval/Authorization
• Maintain Warranty policies so all claims are paid within Company guidelines
• The ideal candidate should have prior experience in this field or comparable training with heavy duty truck parts
• Maintain relationships with local repair shops or fleets in the area to assist in Field Testing as needed
• Process weekly warranty parts returns and warranty scrap reports and forward to appropriate dept. for processing
• Maintain working relationship with distributor representatives
• Maintain appropriate department correspondence and files

In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent is expected to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy, efficiency, and have attention to detail, respect the work environment and keep it as neat and clean as possible, while exercising initiative to learn new skills and tasks, and to help co-workers when possible.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 yrs min. working with truck parts and/or automotive parts
• 3-5 yrs of experience as a heavy-duty truck mechanic, service advisor or parts counter-person
• Able to problem-solve on your own or with other team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
