SUMMARY
The Production Machine Operator performs the basic set up and operation of automatic machinesin accordance with established shop practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
.

• Performs basic sets up and operation of up to three automatic machines to produce parts according to blueprints, router package, specifications and/or special instructions.
• Recognizes and detects machine out-of-tolerance characteristics and adjusts controls or control media as required.
• Performs basic trial runs to check accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
• Provide necessary information to Manufacturing team, Engineering Team or others to document procedures and drawings.
• Checks tooling and reworks as needed to keep machine running.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards using gauges and SPC by following blueprints or work instructions.
• Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows all safety regulations.
• All employees are responsible for complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local, and State government, LISI Aerospace, and HSE Procedures.
• All employees are responsible for attending all training provided and for adhering to all HSE procedures, policies, and plans, conforming to reporting requirements, and safe operating procedures at all times.
• All employees are required to bring any known or suspected nonconformance for all company procedures or legal requirements to management’s attention immediately.
• Works under recommended waste elimination initiatives specifically related to the manufacturing production function.
• Performs a variety of other related duties as assigned.
