Position Summary
Are you a planner by nature? Do you enjoy working on Continuous improvement projects? Are you passionate about the Wine and Spirits industry? If so, keep reading. As the Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the production schedules for 8 lines. You will also work closely with all other department teams to appropriately balance production scheduling activities for Woodbridge Winery. A key function of your role will be to work with Packaging, Procurement, and winemaking to ensure alignment on executing the production plan. As the Production Scheduler, you will play a critical role in leading/coordinating the plan for all packaging lines at the Woodbridge Winery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop weekly finite schedule to optimize plant operations
- Supporting weekly production planning meetings
- Providing quick responses to production issues
- Track and report schedule weekly attainment and schedule stability
- Manage SAP BOM Effectivity Dates to ensure correct MRP explosion.
- Monitors materials run out and obsolete inventory and work toward resolution.
- Review quarterly run rates with Packaging
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills. - Creating and release of work orders to the shop floor, in a timely manner.
- Lead/Support the Production Control team with daily dry goods reconciliation.
- Support Warehouse with cycle counting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operational Management, or Process Engineering
- Previous experience with SAP or other MRP system preferred
- Previous experience with JDA or other Planning system preferred
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office and Excel required
- Good verbal and written communication skills

The salary range for this role is:
$63,100.00 - $92,700.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
