2nd Shift: 2 pm – 10:30 pm Monday through Friday - $18/hr. 6 month contract assignment.

MUST be able to train on a 1st shift schedule (for approximately one week) before starting assigned 2nd shift schedule.

Position is located on Grand Island, NY and this employer will offer reimbursement for daily toll expenses accrued via your EZ Pass account! Please note that a HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA/GED IS REQUIRED and will be verified, along with your employment history. Drug Screen, Background Check and Vision Testing will need to be completed prior to your start date.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Comprehends basic math, reading and basic mechanical adjustments
• Performs tasks requested by supervision
• Wears appropriate safety equipment
• Adheres to gowning requirements
• Follows all required SOP's/GMP's and safety requirements
• Responsible for good documentation practices
• Responsible for restocking production supplies
• Assures that the batch record folder is correctly documented and that all checks are performed per SOP
• Verify and check the sterilizer cycle Accounting to the SOP standards
• Load applicable sterilizers as necessary
• Responsible for support equipment after the completion of the production run
• Performs the daily and weekly cleaning of the area as specified in the SOP
• Accurately separates and labels any waste
• Works overtime as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Good communication and documentation skills are required
• Must be able to lift items weighing approximately 20 lbs.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and reach while palletizing items weighing about 20 lbs.
• Must be able to pull and push racks using a manual pallet jack
• Must be able to work in slippery wet conditions while operating equipment and performing manual cleaning of equipment
