Minimum Experience: A minimum of 20 years of executive-level management experience, such as experience directing the technical and administrative work of employees, establishing program/project milestones and monitoring adherence to set schedules, and leading program review sessions with senior leadership. Project Manager must have knowledge of DoD organization and structure, or experience working at the OSD or senior flag officer level at the Services. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, briefings, and meeting moderation; and, willingness/desire to work across a broad range of technical and intelligence areas is required. Understanding of techniques used in government supply chain systems and process, including various inventory management programs such as Distribution Standard System (DSS), Inventory Management & Stock Positioning (IMSP), Economic Movement Quantity (EMQ), and Inventory Policy Optimization (IPO) is a plus.

Knowledge and experience with inventory management strategies, inventory data analysis, Supply, Storage and Distribution (SS&D), DoD stock and inventory positioning processes and DLA inventory management and distribution systems. . Meets with appropriate Government management personnel, other contractor managers, and customer representatives. Formulates and reviews strategic plans, marketing plans, subcontracting arrangements, and deliverables, determines task order costs, and ensures conformity with contract terms and conditions.

Responsible for ensuring coordination between personnel below them and all central management functions within the organization and between those central management functions and appropriate Government personnel. Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of subordinates. Explains policies, purposes, and goals of the contractor?s organization and the Government?s policies and procedures applicable to this contract to subordinates. Takes appropriate action and coordinates policies and activities with appropriate Government personnel.

Actively applies quality assurance measures to the management and performance of the task order.
