River Edge is looking to fill the position of Program Manager with/at our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program at our Fulton-Boulevard location. The PSH Program Manager will be responsible for the assuring case management services and program requirements are optimized. The ideal candidate will implement robust, intensive services for chronically homeless individuals and families focused on assuring homelessness is brief and non-re-occurring using a strength-based approach to increased stability and self-sufficiency.
In this role you will:
- Provide oversight and direction for all services offered to individuals and families in the program. In addition, you serve as the primary contact person for the Coordinated Entry System (CES) for Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) placement updates.
- Conduct assessments and interviews to determine services eligibility prior to program entry.
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of supportive housing services as well as crisis intervention services if needed.
- Establish a broad knowledge base of community services and communicate appropriate referrals to leadership, the program participates and partners.
- Engage with community partners to provide services onsite and offsite.
- Collaborate on new and project proposals, including supporting the budgeting and grant writing process.
- Act as the primary contact with Partners for HOME and other program partners.
- Responsible for generating weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports for submission to management and funders in a timely manner.
- Monitor program outcomes and prepare necessary reports related to grants and agency needs.
- Recommend strategies to ensure program outcomes are met.
- Conduct stakeholder training concerning homeless services models such as Housing First and Support Services.
- Monitor budgets, authorizations, billing, staffing patterns, productivity and makes suggestions and improvements accordingly.
- Ensure team members are conducting assertive tenant engagement to encourage participation in services.
- Maintain up-to-date client files and program statistics, including, but not limited to, client data and grant-related documentation. Complete and submit administrative reports in a timely manner.
- Conduct recruitment and outreach activities to increase program participation.
- Investigate complaints of program abuse, document and take appropriate action in such cases, per Fulton County DBHDD, Partners for HOME, Federal, State and local policies and regulations with accuracy and efficiency.
You will need:
- Acceptable background check/drug screen
- Acceptable references
- Fully Covid-19 vaccinated
- Minimum licensure such as LAMFT, LMFT, LAPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW
- Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology)
- At least four years of providing behavioral health services, preferred.
- At least four years of community service board experience.
- At least two years of relevant supervisory experience, preferred.
- Must have knowledge and experience with the chronically mentally ill population.
- Must have ability to design, develop and modify programming.
- Must have strong clinical skills.
- Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have ability to multi-task and remain organized.
- Experience working with any of the following programs: HUD, ESG, CDGB, HOME, and/or LITHC (Preferred).
