Summary
The Valorant Senior Organizer is a new role focused on expanding the LCSPA’s mission beyond the LCS to represent the Valorant professional players competing in North America. The VSO will first collaborate with the Executive Director to build trust and buy-in with professional Valorant players in North America in order to establish an official association. If that work is achieved then continuing work will be to manage day-to-day relationships within Valorant among players, teams, and Riot Games through advocacy, education, and in maintaining project work like the Player Contract Database.

Essential Functions:
Organizing work
  • Establish trusting relationships with players within each North American partnered team
  • Develop and support a player led Executive Committee
  • Establish, maintain agendas for, and attend regular meetings with all relevant stakeholders at the player, team, and Riot Games level
  • Own end-to-end execution of the North American Valorant Group Rights Program
Operations work
  • Organize and maintain North American Valorant document database
  • Track and input new contracts into the Player Contract Database (PCD)
  • Update and maintain the Group Rights Program Tracker (GRPT) as new players enter/exit the program
  • Lead in developing onboarding packets for new players in North American Valorant
  • Lead in developing presentation materials for North American Valorant educational programs
Project Development
  • Develop and maintain the Valorant version of the Player Contract Database (PCD)
  • Establish and execute educational sessions for aspiring professional Valorant players
  • Assist the Executive Director on additional projects affecting NA Valorant or LCS member players
  • Prospect and develop new potential partnerships that could benefit the NA Valorant players and/or LCS players
Additional Functions:
  • Attend as needed Executive Committee, Advisory Board, in person Player Summits, Management & Culture, All-Staff meetings, and retreats.
  • Work with the Operations Associate to ensure they can complete their Valorant related media and operations work in a timely manner
  • Maintain supporting relationships with professional players in other regions and games
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Robust knowledge of professional Valorant
  • Deep relationships with Valorant professional players in North America
  • Strong contacts within Riot Games Valorant team as well as within North American Valorant team organizations
  • Experience with G-Suite
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with individuals of various ages, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Professional maturity and integrity with a high level of self-direction and sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with esports employment contracts strongly preferred
  • Relationships with and understanding of esports agencies preferred
  • Greater Los Angeles Area residents preferred
