As Hagerty grows, we continue to look for talented professionals from a variety of backgrounds to provide holistic solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a Project Manager. This is a contract that will be primarily remotely based with travel required to client sites in California. The Project Manager will serve as a part of a team providing operational and organizational management support to a government organization in their long-term COVID operations.
The responsibilities of Project Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying operational goals and objectives and creating and maintaining a tracking mechanism to ensure the team has awareness of progress in meeting these goals.
- Engaging with direct and executive client leadership to identify and maintain team awareness of priorities and status.
- Developing project deliverables, including planning, internal engagement, and public engagement documents.
- Managing engagement and communication with internal and external partners.
Candidates for Project Manager must possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree.
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience.
- Be a self-starter and able to take initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong core competencies in technology, Microsoft Office, and data analysis and visualization tools.
- Flexibility, integrity, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in deliverables.
- Ability to stay calm and poised under pressure and remain focused when working under tight deadlines.
- The capability to balance multiple high-priority assignments.
- A basic driver’s license equivalent to the California Class C.
Candidates for Project Manager may also have the following qualifications:
Project Manager Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or education in public health.
- A professional certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certification.
