Employee-owned Kitchellseeks an experienced and dedicated Proposal Coordinator to join our Northern California region in Sacramento and build a long-term career at one of the most innovative and growth-oriented building companies in the United States.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate and lead the final production of all marketing deliverables (qualifications, proposals, and presentations)
· Perform quality control on proposals and other materials
· Research, input data, and assist in maintaining the department database
· Assist with edits and proofreads responses to requests for proposals and qualifications to ensure comprehensive and compliant responses
· Coordinates, attends, and contributes to marketing meetings with respective teams
· Compiles and distributes marketing reports and documents to internal clients and respective teams
· Produces and distributes effective promotional and collateral marketing materials
· Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence and other records
· Utilizes safe work practices and follows directives, policies, and procedures for assisting and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment
· Establishes and maintains effective and professional relationships with internal clients consistent with company values
· Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience
· In possession of, or actively seeking a degree in marketing or related field is strongly preferred
· 2 - 5 years of position related work experience in marketing, preferably in the architecture, engineering and construction management industry or related field is preferred
Knowledge And Skills
· Knowledge of graphic design principles is required
· Effective computer skills including proficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project required, and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat desktop publishing software and Deltek Vision database management software is preferred
· Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships is required
· Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to frequent change, delays or unexpected events is required
· Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, initiative, communication, and teamwork is required
· Commitment to the values of Kitchell with attention to honesty and integrity, quality of work and customer satisfaction is required
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general office environment. Extended work hours may be required to meet deadlines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, talk, or hear and use hands to finger, feel and handle; frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; and occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Must frequently lift and or move 5 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds.
Travel Requirements
Limited to no travel will be required for this position.
