Position Opening: Provider Recruiter (PR-A)

Summary The Provider Recruiter is responsible for recruiting Physicians, Mid-level providers,
and locum tenens. Provides reporting and regular status updates to Executive leaders, and
hiring managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Partner closely with the Executive team to identify current needs and create appropriate
recruitment strategies 

Identify, develop, and implement strategies to attract and recruit top physician and mid-
level talent into the organization 

Develop partnerships and establish effective pipelines with residency and fellowship
program 

Partner with established and new recruiting companies to attract top talented providers 

Develop marketing and sourcing campaigns 

Attend appropriate conferences and sourcing events 

Implement effective online recruitment tools 

Effectively present opportunity information and manage objections 

Recruitment of permanent employed providers and manage locums tenens recruitment
and placement 

Initial screening of candidates to determine qualifications and dispositional fit within the
organization 

Coordinate phone and on-site interviews (escorting the candidate between meetings and
facilities 

Communicate with provider prior to, during and after interviews to bring process to a
conclusion of offer made and accepted, offer made and not accepted or no offer made 

Partner with credentialing and Medical Staff Services to ensure all credentials of provider
are complete 

Schedule orientation and training for newly hired providers 

Excellent oral and written communication skills 

Travel may be required 

Other duties as assigned
