Position Opening: Provider Recruiter (PR-A)
Department: Administration
Schedule: Fulltime- Flexible Hours (1.0) FTE
Wage: DOE
Summary The Provider Recruiter is responsible for recruiting Physicians, Mid-level providers,
and locum tenens. Provides reporting and regular status updates to Executive leaders, and
hiring managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Partner closely with the Executive team to identify current needs and create appropriate
recruitment strategies
Identify, develop, and implement strategies to attract and recruit top physician and mid-
level talent into the organization
Develop partnerships and establish effective pipelines with residency and fellowship
program
Partner with established and new recruiting companies to attract top talented providers
Develop marketing and sourcing campaigns
Attend appropriate conferences and sourcing events
Implement effective online recruitment tools
Effectively present opportunity information and manage objections
Recruitment of permanent employed providers and manage locums tenens recruitment
and placement
Initial screening of candidates to determine qualifications and dispositional fit within the
organization
Coordinate phone and on-site interviews (escorting the candidate between meetings and
facilities
Communicate with provider prior to, during and after interviews to bring process to a
conclusion of offer made and accepted, offer made and not accepted or no offer made
Partner with credentialing and Medical Staff Services to ensure all credentials of provider
are complete
Schedule orientation and training for newly hired providers
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Travel may be required
Other duties as assigned
