Job Summary:
Kalamazoo Valley Community College is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Receptionist to work in our Dental Hygiene Department. If you enjoy customer service and detailed-oriented job responsibilities, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
This position is responsible for providing receptionist support for the Dental Hygiene Department’s front desk. This position supports the best practice of ensuring quality customer relations, including greeting patients. In addition, it supports the college’s efforts to protect sensitive patient information.
Tasks Include:
Answering phone calls, emails, patient questions and take messages if needed
Use of scheduling software (EagleSoft)
Process payments
Utilize strong customer service skills with both written and oral communication

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent telephone and communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and strong customer service, filing and data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in administrative support and customer service is preferred.

20 hours per week; Monday-Friday 10 a.m. -2 p.m.
