Job Title : QA/QC Inspector
Job Location : Pasadena TX USA

POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Control (QC) Technician conducts/analyzes raw materials, intermediates
and final products to ensure compliance with material specifications and regulatory and
customer requirements. This position provides technical assistance to internal
customers, operations, and other plant personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and test samples to determine the quality of raw materials, in-process samples and final products
• Enter data into SAP
• Troubleshoot and repair QC lab equipment, perform calibrations
• Follow good housekeeping practices at all times
• Prepare and communicate documents and results of sample analysis
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions
• Participates in product work off assignments

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. degree in chemistry
• 1–3-year experience in a chemical laboratory setting desired
• Calculation and preparation of chemical solutions
• Writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures
• Calibrating and performing routine maintenance on instruments (e.g. balances, titrators, etc.)
• Performing all tests and lab work following industry standards for personal safety and hygiene
• Communicating efficiently in written and verbal forms

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Pasadena, TX 77507: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• chemical laboratory: 1 year (Required)
