Role Overview

We are looking for:

As a member of the Alpharetta quality team, the Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the verification of commercial product quality before release and shipment, supporting corrective actions and case investigations, and participating in quality system audits. This position will work closely with production, laboratory, and shipping personnel in all areas of the Alpharetta site.

We count on you for:

  • Coordinate testing with internal and external laboratories for commercial products.
  • Verify documentation and labeling on products including both finished products as well as incoming raw materials COA reviews/verifications.
  • Submit samples for testing supporting QC, complaint case investigations, and special projects.
  • Conduct internal audits, and support the quality team during external audits of Solvay Alpharetta (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.)
  • Support the quality team in investigations of customer issues, product non-conformances, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • This position provides exposure to the full range of commercial projects at the Alpharetta site, and is a chance to build a strong network with colleagues across multiple disciplines.

You will bring:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in testing or QC is a plus
  • Prior experience with Labware (LIMS) and/or SAP is a plus
  • Fluency in English required
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets
  • Focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize data
  • Relationship Development

You will get:

  • Competitive salary
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
