Position Description: Responsibilities and Duties:
Supplier communication

o Read and reply to all emails from suppliers regarding QC matters

o Flag any issues and share with the appropriate team members. For example, delayed approval resulting in shipping delay needs to be shared with production team.

o Relay all internal and external samples comments to the supplier, request revised samples as needed

Create + Maintain the production lead time report

o Add new orders as they are processed

o Follow up with the factories to make sure they are maintaining the ETD

o Ensure the factories are submitting samples + packaging for approval on time

Packaging artwork

o Review artwork via email, specifically the legal lines and details. Compare to the information on the customer PO to make sure all information required on the artwork is covered.

o Share artwork with sales/customer if required

o Check in a print proof from the supplier, make sure the font/verbiage/paper quality is correct, and relay comments to the supplier.

Packages to be received

o Track all packages, flag upcoming deliveries

o Ensure all packages in transit are received

o Track anything sent to the customer to ensure it was received

Packages to be sent to customers

o Send applicable samples to customer as needed

o Email the customer that the package was sent, provide the tracking #

o Await comments, follow up with needed, and share customer comments with the factory

Check in pre-production samples

o Review stock with the appropriate internal parties

o Send C2O to the customer if required, initiate the email to the customer, and relay their comments as well as internal comments to the supplier

o Input the PPS approval in PLM + Simparel

Check in TOP samples

o Review stock with the appropriate internal parties

o Compare TOP to what was approved in the DEV/PPS stage

o Sending C2O to the customer if required, initiate the email to the customer, and relay their comment as well as internal comments to the supplier.

o Input the TOP approval in PLM + Simparel

Testing

o For any orders that require testing, ensure the suppliers submits the test report on time, and it receives a passing grade

o Share the test report with the customer if required (ex. Five Below + Forever 21)

Filing

o File all paperwork, labels and samples in the appropriate places

New Development

o Send new development inquiries to factories

o Share tech packs and request samples as needed

o Check in new development samples with design

Customer portals

o Manage customer portals regarding samples / approvals / test reports

Other Functions

Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support the departments business needs.

Understand and follow Ginas employee policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
1+ years of related experience preferred

Associates or bachelors degree preferred

Written and verbal communication skills

Must have superior organizational skills
